Is Sandustry on Xbox Game Pass?

Which Game Pass Tiers Include Sandustry?

Xbox Wire’s August 2026 Game Pass announcement lists:

Sandustry (Game Preview) — PC — August 13

Included with:

• Game Pass Ultimate
• PC Game Pass

This is the strongest current source for the subscription question because it is an official Xbox announcement.

Can You Install Sandustry on an Xbox Console?

The current Xbox product page identifies Sandustry as Game Preview and the Game Pass announcement lists the platform as PC.

That confirms PC access through Microsoft’s ecosystem. It does not confirm a native Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S build.

Do not turn Xbox branding, achievements, cloud saves, or a cloud-streaming page into a claim that a native console version exists.

What Does “Game Preview” Mean?

Microsoft labels the product Game Preview, while Steam labels the game Early Access.

Both indicate an unfinished game that can change over time, but the storefront terms do not guarantee:

• identical build numbers;
• identical update timing;
• identical platform features;
• permanent inclusion in Game Pass.

Cloud Gaming vs Native Console Support

If Sandustry is available through Xbox Cloud Gaming in your region/account, that is a streamed session running on remote hardware.

Cloud availability is not the same thing as installing a native Xbox console build locally.

What Is Not Confirmed

Do not currently promise:

• how long Sandustry will remain in the Game Pass catalog;
• native Xbox One support;
• native Xbox Series X|S support;
• Xbox Play Anywhere;
• cross-store save transfer;
• a future console release date.

Subscription catalogs and regional availability can change, so check the live Xbox listing before purchase or subscription decisions.
