Sandustry Download: Official Stores & Demo

Download Sandustry only through an official store. Steam sells the Early Access build, GOG provides DRM-free offline installers, and Microsoft Store offers the native PC Game Preview version. The Steam Demo and old itch.io browser Demo are separate products.

Where to Buy and Download Sandustry

Steam

The Steam store supports the Early Access purchase and installation. It lists system requirements for Windows, macOS, and SteamOS/Linux.

GOG

GOG provides Windows, Linux, and macOS versions. Its release is DRM-free, does not require online activation, and offers complete offline installers without requiring GOG Galaxy.

Microsoft Store / Xbox App

The Microsoft product page offers Sandustry (Game Preview) for native PC installation. Its “Play with” field lists PC.

Downloading the Demo

The Steam Demo is a separate Windows-only listing. Its 500 MB figure is required storage, not a guaranteed live download size.

The developer’s itch.io page offers an old HTML5 browser build marked In development. Its update history belongs to the earlier Demo and should not be confused with the 2026 Early Access game.

Cloud Gaming Is Not a Console Download

The Xbox Cloud Gaming page streams the game remotely. Streaming availability does not prove that an Xbox One or Xbox Series native download exists.

Download Size vs Required Storage

Steam’s full-game requirement says 1 GB available space. That is a disk-space requirement, not a confirmed package or network download size. Install size may also change with updates.

Avoid APKs, Cracks, and Mirrors

There is no confirmed native Android or iOS release. Pages advertising an APK, crack, torrent, or unofficial “full game” mirror are not official Sandustry distribution channels and may be unsafe.
